Ski clubhouse
The clubhouse of the ski club, designed by Ing. arch. Michal Rosa, is proposed as a fully wooden two-story building with a pair of shed roofs. The eastern facade steps back to create a covered outdoor area, which partly serves as waxing boxes and partly as a spectator terrace. The ground floor of the building will house changing rooms, washrooms, and a common room, while the second floor contains two clubrooms. The building also includes a garage for two snowcats and a scooter.
The construction uses spruce and larch wood - 1000 m² of CLT (cross laminated timber) panels, which are not very common in the Czech Republic yet, 160 m² of two by four panels, 8 m³ of solid larch wood, 250 m² of roofs made from trusses and S4S lumber (about 20 m³).
